Description PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) is the largerst firm offering professional services in the world. Over 150 000 people in 150 countries combine knowledge, experience and solutions to increase the trust and value of customers and stakeholders. Plink is the name of the PwC social network, based in IBM Lotus Connections, which was set up as a pilot project in 2008. The goal is for every service line to use Plink to foster professional networking, exchange information, give visibility to the most active professionals and optimize response times and processes. |

Solution The Networks section of Global Legal Services participates, as all other areas in PwC, with their own pilot project in Plink. Legal Services needs to get to where other areas have got after several months of work and needs to get their members involved: the challenge is not only to match the results of the rest of the pilot projects, but to make a difference. We designed a strategic plan over six months that is being carried out in close cooperation with all pilot leaders and area leaders. We report every week to an international committee with responsability over the project, the actions and the results. |

Results The strategic plan includes: contact plan, communication plan and engagement of the faciltators, guides and manuals for every type of user, (weekly) material for every phase, actions to attract customers and keep them dynamic, incentive plan, weekly objectives, monitoring of participation and reporting results.
