Communication and people are the closest things to being a vocation for me. I can’t sing, I draw very badly and I envy those who were born with a determination to do something in life: doctors, actresses, firefighters or musicians. But I try to enjoy everything I do and I almost always do. My actual career began in the Internet world in 1995. Since then, my skills and capacities have been evolving, always in the same industry and covering all possibilities: as a freelancer, entrepreneur, employee… If you asked me why I do what I do, I would say that because life, and natural selection in the professional world, have brought me here, in a very satisfying mixture on a personal level of current needs, what I do best and my training.
I first got a degree in Journalism, then in Advertising and PR. I took several postgraduate studies (Business Administration and Interactive Communication among others) and was lucky to have real geniuses as my mentors in the work environment. I am a consultant and have taught several postgraduate studies at UOC and UB, besides working as an instructor for several institutions (Elisava/UPF, UB, UdG, etc). Currently, my days are spent doing consulting, team management and project management. I believe in effort and involvement. If you asked me why íncipy, I would say that I personally believe in the future of a company where people come first and where you can be satisfied with the work you have done at the end of the day. For me, what is most important is that we enjoy building a future project together, which, in addition to having enriched us, pays our bills and for our vacations. I think that making a living this way is a privilege which is, unfortunately, not very common. The keys: passion, enthusiasm, opinions, professionalism, team spirit, involvement and People, with a capital “P”, yes: People. |
